Oil Spill Response Unit
In 2002 this unit was set up with the goal of providing a comprehensive oil spill response organisation to preserve the heritage and the environment of the UAE and the GCC.

Activities of the unit include containment and recovery of spilt hazardous substances on both land and water.We can prevent ecological disasters through our 24-hour emergency response unit with fully trained IMO / OPRC certified technicians, who use the latest equipment, like booms, skimmers and ROPME-approved chemicals.

Quick response, rapid aerial location, containment and recovery of spilled hydrocarbons, plus continuous aerial monitoring of each situation, are the solutions to prevent ecological disasters on both land and sea.

Security Force Protection Unit
The Force Protection Unit of Dulsco was formed in 2002 to provide security to key naval assets and commercial carriers. Dulsco provides waterside protection, which involves using special barrier booms fitted with closed circuit surveillance cameras, which can be monitored from an onshore base station.

The mission statement of this unit reads, "To provide an effective and rapidly deployable system that is characterised by a high degree of defense and a high factor of deterrence, thereby offering a revolutionary method to protect marine assets."
