Harinsa Qatar is a joint venture between two companies, DHO and ECISA, with a Qatari sponsor. The company’s main function is civil contracting, and it has presence in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
Yasser Abd El Latif M Saleh, Planning Engineer at Harinsa Qatar informs us that, “Currently, we are constructing a 200 million riyal project for PEO (Private Engineering Office). It includes a building for Education and a Sports Zone for the Military Academy. The project completion dates are June 2009 for the Sports Zone and September 2009 for the Educational Building. We also have another 25 million riyal project under progress in Doha - the Bilal Plaza.”
Harinsa Qatar is outsourcing approximately 300 personnel from various vendors, 115 of which are from Dulsco. “Presently about 115 personnel are being outsourced from Dulsco, in categories such as - helpers, shuttering carpenters, masons and steel fixers. I consider Dulsco as one of the best vendors I have dealt with on my projects, as Dulsco’s service is noteworthy in many ways including attending to client requirements, providing manpower at short notice, etc.,” says Isaac Omari, Project Control Manager of Harinsa Qatar.
Employee skill sets and QHSE requirements are in line with the client’s needs. The safety training is held at the client site. On a scale of 10, the client rated us at 8/9. There is an immediate requirement for 80 to 100 personnel coming up in the first quarter of 2009. Categories will include masons and carpenters among others. We will be one of the short listed companies for future projects, and there could be a similar requirement at Bilal Plaza.
