Reem Emirates Aluminum (REA), part of the Royal Group conglomerate in Abu Dhabi, was established in May 2006 to meet the increasing demand for architectural finishes and metal works in the Emirate. REA's operations includes a 20,000 square meter aluminum curtain wall factory, which specializes in custom-made architectural cladding elements with particular emphasis on the design and manufacture of unitized curtain wall panels.
In addition, REA is also building a 10,000 sq meter state-of-the-art glass-processing factory that will run the latest high tech glass-making equipment from Lisec, Tamglass and Glaston Technologies. This factory will augment the works of the aluminum factory and ensure continuous supply to customers.
Dulsco Abu Dhabi has been providing manpower and waste management services to REA for the past eight months. R. Harikrishnan, Deputy HR Manager of Reem Emirates Aluminum, initiated the REA - Dulsco relationship and is impressed with the work of Dulsco's recruitment service.
“We had utilized your cleaning staff, and we realized that it had taken a lot of pressure off us. Your staff members are always friendly and keen to assist. Hence we decided to continue using this service,” informs Harikrishnan, who appreciates that Dulsco has also saved REA from the hassles of providing support services to its outsource  employees. He cites an occasion when Dulsco PRO helped handle all relevant matters during a labour inspection at REA.
When the REA plant had a requirement of thirty semi-skilled people, Dulsco Abu Dhabi was the first to respond and quickly fill in the positions. Dulsco personnel were quick to acquire the skills of assembling and fixing REA products to the exact specifications. Appreciating the good work of Dulsco personnel, Harikrishnan is confident that REA will utilize Dulsco personnel in future projects too. He says, “With our glass and steel factory coming up there will certainly be more positions to be filled.”
