Emirates Bio Fertilizer Factory (EBFF) is the largest private factory based in Al Ain. The factory has pioneered the manufacture of organic and bio fertilizers in the UAE with an average production capacity of over 150,000 metric tonnes per annum.

Equipped with the best manufacturing units, EBFF produces different types of fertilizers compatible to international standards under strict quality assurance systems. The factory produces special organic fertilizers in 13 highly developed production lines including organic fertilizers, poultry manure, potting soil and peat pots formulated as powder, pellet, granules (slow release) and liquid fertilizers for varied agricultural needs.

 All of EBFF’s products have the common name ‘Emirates’ prefixed to their brand names. Some of the interestingly named fertilizing products include Micro Fert, Al Murooj, Abu Deek, Rods Fert, Bio Green, Agro Fish, Flora, Magic, Nutri Humate, Al Qusor, Al Nawaya, Al Baqara, Green Firt, and so on. The vast majority of these products are environment-friendly.

Learning about Dulsco through the Al Ain Sales Representative, EBFF started by hiring fifteen helpers from Dulsco to load and unload cargo. Dulsco personnel have been outsourced at EBFF for seven months.

“Dulsco personnel are engaged in heavy duty work of different nature for us. With our bio fertilizer machines producing five tonnes per hour, we are in constant need of civilian labour. Dulsco employees help us through the gruelling process of unloading, loading bags, arranging and stamping them, filling the bags and adjusting them on the conveyors.

The whole process involves strenuous physical activity and we have always found Dulsco employees to be physically fit, disciplined and ready to pick up new ideas,” reported Dr. Mohd Badawi, Factory Manager, EBFF in Al Ain.

EBFF is also examining the possibility of more personnel being provided by Dulsco such as agricultural engineers to take care of its various farms. Dulsco in turn appreciates the added sense of responsibility in keeping a satisfied customer happy and is ready to provide the needed services  to aid in the smooth functioning of EBFF.

Dr. Badawi says, “We have always found Dulsco co-operative. We will need further co-operation from you when we need helpers again later in the year.”
